Allocation logic

Deterministic, explainable, repeatable

  1. 1Rank family / region requirement by constraint: the fewer eligible lines a family has, the earlier it is placed.
  2. 2Place volume on the preferred line in the demand region first, respecting remaining monthly capacity.
  3. 3Spill to other eligible lines in capability order, applying the sourcing split and blended lead time.
  4. 4Anything that cannot be placed becomes an unmet requirement and is classified as a temporary exception or a structural gap.

Phase 1 replicates today's rule-based planning logic with full traceability. Optimization and probabilistic planning are deliberately out of scope for the December-ready product.
